Fifty go to France:
Fifty members and friends of
the Torbay CTC went over from Plymouth to Roscoff for a cycling trip on
1st March.
High winds and very high tides meant that the MV Quiberon was unable to
dock on time, so only 10 hours was available to enjoy foreign soil. Therefor
the 200Km ride (Seaboard) was cancelled and these riders joined the 150Km
run down to Huelgoat, and Guerlesquin, and back to Roscoff via Morlaix.

Okehampton
Cycle track to open this Summer.
It
looks as if the long delayed completion of the section of cycle track
from Meldon to Okehampton will be complete this summer
It's one of the most scenic areas of Devon, and this section goes over
the viaduct at Meldon. The track has an excellent surface - better than
many similar schemes, and also gives open views.

A Corker in the Cotswolds.
Several DA members went up to Bishops Cleeve near Cheltenham to ride the
hilly 100Km event in the Cotswolds. The Cotswold Corker is organised by
Cheltenham Section of the Bristol DA. Almost 250 riders started the event
on a foggy morning. The fog stayed around for most of the day, as riders
meandered through cotswold villages of Winchcombe, Guiting Power, Turkdean,
Frampton Mansell, Bisley, Caudle Green and Andoversford, before finishing
at Woodmancote.
